  • At Club Scientific Summer Camps, we combine hands-on learning with one-on-one attention to create a fun environment that teaches students to enjoy the challenge of critical thinking.
  • By offering multiple camp themes each week, our curriculum is intended to appeal to your child's unique interests.
  • All of our hands-on activities conform to National Science Standards, making science challenging and fun! Our camp Directors are highly trained educational professionals, assisted by skilled instructors that have have a passion for science!

Ages 6-8

Jr. Robot Inventor Camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will learn about the six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will also learn about circuits and power sources as they build our “Mars-like” RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our smart "Crab-Bot" Robot. Lastly, campers will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots.

Sample Projects:
Creating Electric Circuits! Building a remote controlled vehicle, building simple machines with Knex, and constructing a self-propelled "Crab-Bot"!

Jr. Scientist Camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week
Half Day = $190/week 

The Jr. Scientist Camp covers a broad range of fun and exciting science topics such as: Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Lab Process Skills. This camp is perfect for the child who has a general interest in science and wants an exciting "sampler" camp! Campers learn all about the Scientific Method, how to observe and document changes with their experiments day to day, how to measure, and more!

Jr. Mad Chemist Camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week
Half Day = $190/week

Potions, bubbles, and eruptions! We have chosen our very favorite chemistry activities for this camp! Campers will learn the importance of taking accurate measurements when creating our exciting concoctions and will use the scientific method while conducting their experiments. This camp will be a BLAST! (Literally!)

Jr. Chef Camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Who ever said that playing with your food is a bad thing? Our Jr. Chefs will explore basic kitchen safety, learn to take proper measurements while cooking, and will learn the science behind cooking! Chefs will perform exciting hands-on experiments to learn the basics of food science and cooking. Students will also make their own recipes and take home extras to share with their families when available. With supervision from our camp counselors, campers will use small toaster ovens, hotplates, kitchen utensils, and more as they prepare their dishes.

Jr. Veterinarian camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week
Half Day = $190/week

Does your child LOVE animals? This camp is a young person’s ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Our lessons will give young vets an opportunity to look into the exciting careers of veterinarians, and allow them to be involved in related hands-on activities and experiments. Each camper will even receive their own stethoscope and make their own medical kit!

*Please note: Animals may be present at camp - this camp is not recommended for campers who have cat/dog allergies. Campers are NOT to bring their own pets to camp.*

Jr. Paleontologist Camp

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

This camp offers an exciting introduction into the basics of Paleontology! This exciting adventure in Paleontology will have your child playing in the dirt and having the time of their lives! Campers will be immersed in several hands-on projects that they will take home to continue their adventure. Plus this camp offers fun and dynamic science games!

CHEF SCIENTIFIC CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

A true camper favorite! Our camp chefs will explore basic kitchen safety, learn to take proper measurements while cooking, and will learn the science behind cooking! Chefs will make their own recipes and take home extras to share with their families when available. This is a course for beginning "Chefs", and will include a variety of breakfast, dessert, and party recipes. With supervision from our camp counselors, campers will use ovens, hotplates, blenders, and more as they prepare their dishes.

ART LAB CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Unleash your inner scientist AND artist in our BRAND NEW Art Lab Camp! Explore the world of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Tech, and MORE as we create a portfolio of “Art Experiments” over the course of this exciting week. Campers ages 9 – 12 will explore many art making methods while we mix, cut, splash, splatter, and animate our way through our fun projects! Perfect for your little scientist with a creative spark. Join us for our end-of-week Art Exhibit during Friday’s Family Day event!

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

One of our most popular camps! This camp is a young person’s ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. CSI – FORENSICS CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Who doesn't love a good mystery? In this camp we will learn how to become Crime Scene Investigators! Campers will learn how law enforcement professionals solve crimes and analyze evidence. We'll use many of the same tools used by professionals to collect evidence from our mock crime scenes. Campers will learn how a crime is actually solved using the science of Forensics, and learn how Biology, Chemistry and Physics play a major role in the investigation! Campers use microscopes to analyze fibers, use facial composite software, and more!

MOVIE MAKER CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Calling all future Movie Directors and YouTubers! Join us for an exciting week as we explore the world of film–making. Campers will learn about script–writing, set design, cinematography, the basics of photography, internet safety, lighting, and more! Campers will have the opportunity to use our professional "vlogger gear" as they experiment with our video stabilization, lighting, and microphone rigs. Campers will also learn about Green Screen special effects!

*Please note: Students will work in groups of 2-4 while creating their movies. Please make sure to let your child know they will work with a group during their projects.

ROBOT INVENTOR CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with information on famous inventors, major innovations, and breakthroughs and advances in robot history. Newton's Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three Robot Kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots!

For the 2023 Summer Camp season, students will be building a complex 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot, and a Solar Powered Drag Racer. In addition to these projects campers will be learning how to solder with our "Blinky Bot" soldering project. These are skills, which are a must for anyone taking courses in robotics or electronics.

Sample Projects:
The 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot is a multi-function tracked mobile robotic kit. Utilize different track modules and make your robot transform into 3 amazing variations: the forklift, rover, and gripper. Using the wired controller, command the robot to move forward, backward, turn, grip and lift.

The Solar Powered Drag Racer is an incredible kit that wonderfully illustrates and teaches the concepts of solar power, electronic circuits, electric motors, and power.

EXTREME ENGINEERING CAMP

Cost: Full Day = $395/week

Design - Build - Test - Repeat! Come join us for a week of EXTREME Engineering challenges! Campers will learn the basics of the Engineering Design Process as they build all sorts of crazy contraptions, and compete in a series of Bridge-Building Competitions throughout the week! Campers will learn about Structural and Materials Science, as they compare the strengths of different materials and shapes by performing both non-destructive and destructive testing, all with the goal of improving their Engineering Designs.

Balsa Wood Bridge Building, The Basics of 3D Printing, Break It! (Structural Testing), Intro to CAD (Computer Aided Design), and more!

Camp Pricing & Information:

  • Club Scientific camps differ by location, so check out the details below to see which location and type of camp works best for your child!
  • Full–day camps:
    • Offered at San Juan del Rio Catholic School in Fruit Cove and Waypoint Church in Nocatee
    • 20 different camp themes for Ages 6-12 to choose from!
    • Most camp themes include 4 hands-on science activities each day!
    • Each camp day includes an exciting Morning Science Demonstration or Camp Challenge, at least 45 minutes of Active Outdoor time (weather permitting), and the chance to socialize with friends during their lunch break!
    • Full-day camps operate from 9am – 4pm
      • Optional Early Drop-off (Pre-Camp) from 8am - 9am available for $35 per week
      • Optional Extended Day (Post-Camp) from 4pm - 530pm available for $50 per week
    • All Full-day camps cost $395 per week
      • $15 Sibling and Multi-week Discounts are available at Check-Out.
  • Half–day camps:
    • Offered at the Club Scientific Lab on US-1 in Ponte Vedra
    • 4 different camp themes for Ages 6-9 to choose from!
    • Campers can choose from a Morning camp session, an Afternoon camp session, or both!
      • And the best part? Activities DO NOT repeat between Morning and Afternoon sessions!
        So campers who sign up for both get double the fun!
    • Morning camp sessions operate from 9am to 12pm
    • Afternoon camp sessions operate from 1pm to 4pm
    • Each half-day camp includes at least 2 hands-on science activities per day, and campers who sign up for both Morning and Afternoon sessions will stay on-site for a lunch break from 12pm to 1pm
    • All Half-day camps cost $190 per week
      • $10 Sibling and Multi-week Discounts are available at Check-Out.

CAMP Theme Information:

  • Not all Camps Themes are available at every location. Make sure to check out the Camp Locations page to see which camps are being held in your area.
  • The activities in most Camp Themes do not change from year-to-year. So if your child took the same Camp Theme last summer, then the activities in that camp will likely be the same this summer as well. So while we try to offer several different themes in each age group each summer, some students do repeat camp themes and still have a great time!

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • Full refunds will be offered until April 1st (minus the $20/$10 processing fee, see below)
  • A 75% refund will be offered between April 2nd and May 31st
  • No refunds will be offered after June 1st
  • All refunds to credit cards will incur a fee to cover our non-refundable registration and credit card processing fees. Refunds for Full Day camps will have a $20 processing fee, and Refunds for Half Day camps will have a $10 processing fee

CAMPER WELCOME PACKETS

Getting ready for camp should be an exciting process for your entire family. Many families attend multiple camps throughout the summer. For your convenience we have posted our Welcome Packet in the form of a parent packet in PDF format. This document covers everything from Club Scientific policies to pick-up and drop-off procedures, and camp rules.

The Welcome Packet mentions an 'Administration of Medicine Form'. If your child requires any medications during the time he/she is at the camp, please download this form and print it, fill in the required information, and bring it with the child on the first day of camp.
